CUPERTINO, CALIF.
(February 14, 2006) - Cupertino's Fourth Annual Lunar
New Year Unity Parade kicks off a day-long multi-cultural
celebration Saturday, March 11, honoring the area's broad
spectrum of cultures. The free events include complimentary
all day parking at DeAnza College.

9,000
expected for unity parade
The city of Cupertino
is expecting a record turnout this year of more than 9,000
along with approximately 60 participating groups for the
city's Fourth Annual Lunar New Year Unity Parade on March
11.
In the past, the event
has been instrumental in bringing together more than 7,000
members of the city's diverse cultural community.
This year the event will feature an International Fair
promoting cultural and food booths from 11:30 a.m. to
5 p.m. in Memorial Park.

Unity
parade set for March 11

Lions, dragons and possibly a camel will march through the
streets of Cupertino on March 11.
The city will once again celebrate its diversity with the
fourth annual Lunar New Year Unity and Cultural Fair. As
a part of that celebration there will be a parade with lion
dancers and an international fair with ethnic entertainment
and food, a camel may even drop by.
